Privacy policy

Last Updated: 10-12-2025

This Privacy Policy describes how SUPERBEE (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, processes, stores, protects, and discloses personal information when you access our website, make a purchase, submit any form, or otherwise interact with us. SUPERBEE operates as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), and is committed to maintaining the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the information submitted by individuals visiting or engaging with our online services. By accessing our website or providing your personal information, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

When you engage with the SUPERBEE website, several categories of information may be collected depending on your activity. This includes data that you provide directly, such as your name, phone number, email address, billing and shipping information, order-related details, or customer support messages. When you place an order and proceed to payment, financial information is processed exclusively through PhonePe Payment Gateway; we do not store or access any card details, UPI IDs, bank account numbers, or OTPs. If you create an account, we may also collect login credentials, which are stored in encrypted form.

We additionally collect technical data automatically through Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics 4, cookies, and similar technologies. This may include your device identifiers, IP address, browser information, session duration, page interactions, and general behavioural patterns to help us understand how users browse and interact with the website.

For users who voluntarily submit the doctor consultation form, we collect certain health-related information such as age, gender, height, weight, symptoms, medical history, current medications, allergies, lifestyle inputs (stress, sleep, alcohol or tobacco habits, water intake), and certain health parameters such as haemoglobin, fasting and post-prandial blood sugar levels, and blood pressure readings. This information is considered Sensitive Personal Data and is handled with additional safeguards. Franchise enquiry forms may include details such as your investment capacity, while our B2B form may collect company name, contact details, and approximate purchase requirement. Our affiliate form collects basic identification details but does not request PAN, GST, UPI, or bank information.

2. How We Use Personal Information

SUPERBEE processes personal information strictly for lawful and legitimate purposes. We use your information to process and fulfil your orders, communicate updates, arrange delivery through Delhivery, offer customer support, and maintain your account. Information submitted through the doctor consultation form is used solely to provide personalised recommendations, nutritional or product guidance, and wellness insights; this information is never used for promotional targeting. Insights collected from user interactions, browsing behaviour, and purchase history may be analysed internally to improve our services, enhance product quality, develop new offerings, and refine the overall user experience. We may also send marketing communications or newsletters through Shopify Email, and you may opt out at any time. We further process information for fraud prevention, security, compliance with tax or legal obligations, and maintaining operational stability.

3. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

Your data may be shared with third parties only when necessary for operational and regulatory purposes. Our website operates on Shopify’s hosting infrastructure, which processes certain technical and transactional data on our behalf. Payments are processed via PhonePe, which receives the necessary transaction details to complete your order securely. For fulfilment, Delhivery receives your name, phone number, and shipping address to deliver your order. Google Analytics 4 assists with understanding site usage patterns, while internal specialists may access sensitive consultation data to provide personalised advice. We may disclose information if required by law, in response to lawful government requests, or in connection with investigations related to fraud, misuse, or violations of law. In the event of a business transfer, merger, or acquisition, your data may be transferred to the new entity under appropriate safeguards.

SUPERBEE does not sell or rent personal information to any external party under any circumstance. Your data is never shared with advertisers or marketing partners unrelated to our internal operations.

4. Sensitive Personal Data and Confidential Handling

Any health-related information submitted through the doctor consultation form is treated with the highest level of confidentiality. This data is accessed only by authorised consultation specialists and is used solely for providing personalised wellness advice. It is never used for promotional messaging, profiling, or advertising. Sensitive Personal Data is stored securely, protected with encryption and restricted-access controls, and retained only for a limited period—typically for six to twelve months—unless a longer retention period is required for legal, operational, or dispute resolution purposes. You may withdraw your consent at any time, upon which such data will be deleted subject to legal and operational constraints.

5. Data Retention

SUPERBEE retains personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. Order-related information may be retained for up to seven years in compliance with applicable tax and accounting requirements. Consultation data is retained for six to twelve months, while franchise, affiliate, and B2B enquiries may be retained for twelve to twenty-four months for business evaluation and internal reference. Information collected for marketing purposes is retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. Technical and analytical data may be stored as per Shopify and Google Analytics retention standards.

6. Legal Rights of Data Principals

Under the DPDP Act, individuals whose data we process have the right to access their personal information, request correction of inaccuracies, withdraw previously granted consent, request deletion of information (subject to legal limitations), and lodge grievances. Upon receiving any such request, we may verify your identity to ensure the security of your information. You also have the right to contact our Grievance Officer for any unresolved concerns, after which you may escalate the issue to the Data Protection Board of India if necessary.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

SUPERBEE uses cookies and tracking technologies to support website functionality, remember your preferences, maintain your shopping cart, understand how users interact with the site, and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Cookies may be session-based, lasting only for your browsing session, or persistent, remaining on your device for a specified period. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, although this may limit certain functionalities.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that data has been inadvertently collected from a minor, it will be deleted promptly upon verification.

9. Data Security and International Transfers

SUPERBEE employs industry-standard security practices, including encryption, secure servers, restricted access, and continuous monitoring. Although we take all reasonable precautions to safeguard your information, no online system can guarantee absolute security. Some of our service providers, such as Shopify or Google Analytics, may store or process information on servers located outside India. In such cases, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable law.

10. Changes to the Policy

SUPERBEE may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or business operations. Updates will be posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly. Continued use of our website after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
